Cursor, Codex, OpenCode, Grok, Hermes and any client that sends a Bearer header use a personal access token.\n\nPrefer this document, the docs center, and **Settings → Connected apps** for setup.\n\n## What it is\n\nThe same knowledge base is first-class for US work (SOC 2, HIPAA, NIST CSF / 800-53 / 800-171, CMMC, CCPA) and for EU/international work (ISO 27001, NIS 2, GDPR, DORA, EU AI Act). Do not treat US frameworks as an add-on or as a problem to route around.\n\nYour agent stays the harness; ISMS Copilot is the GRC specialist it hands compliance steps to. Account MCP gives agents the user's compliance context and chat:\n\n- Workspaces (list and create), **metadata** of documents uploaded in the web app (no content), memories, company context, client companies linked to workspaces\n- ISMS Copilot works from what the agent sends (up to 100,000 characters per message), plus the user's company context, memories and files already pinned to the workspace in the web app. No file upload or download over MCP, no Vanta, Drata or other GRC platform connector: the agent reads files and records and does the mechanical work, ISMS Copilot judges what it is sent\n- Real ISMS Copilot conversations (same product knowledge as the web app)\n- Acts as the user, within what the user approved (sign-in) or the token scopes; a sign-in never grants API key or credit tools\n- Available from ChatGPT as a custom MCP app (OAuth sign-in, default settings); not listed in ChatGPT's app directory\n- Billed on the chat subscription (not a separate agent plan)\n\n## What it is not\n\n- Not the in-app **Agent Tasks** surface.
