Connect ISMS Copilot to Claude Code

More and more GRC work now happens inside an AI tool. You draft a policy in Claude Code, reason through a control in Cursor, or talk an analysis out in ChatGPT. Until now, your ISMS Copilot account stayed behind in the browser, so you copied context back and forth between tools. That ends today. Your ISMS Copilot account now comes with you into Claude Code.

What it is

You can connect your ISMS Copilot account to Claude Code, Cursor, or ChatGPT. Once connected, your AI tool can read your workspaces, your documents, and your memories, and hold real ISMS Copilot conversations on your behalf. It acts as you, grounded in the same compliance knowledge and the same context you already rely on in the app, and it is covered by your existing subscription. There is no separate plan to buy.

Why it matters

The point is to stay in your workflow. If your day lives in a terminal or an editor, you should not have to leave it to ask ISMS Copilot a question, pull a document, or check what a workspace already decided. Connecting your account keeps your ISMS Copilot context and compliance knowledge one prompt away, inside the tool you already have open. No copy-paste, no tab-switching, no re-explaining your scope to a generic assistant.

How to set it up

Three steps, about a minute:

  1. In ISMS Copilot, go to Settings -> Connected apps and create a personal access token.
  2. Paste the connect command into your terminal. It includes --scope user, which is what lets the tool act on your account.
  3. Ask in plain English. Try "summarise the open items in my ISO 27001 workspace" or "draft an access control policy using my organisation's context."

The full guide is at /resources/connect-from-claude-code, with the exact command and examples for Claude Code, Cursor, and ChatGPT.

Security

A token acts as you, so we kept it simple and under your control. It is limited to the scopes you grant when you create it, nothing more. It is covered by your existing subscription, so connected tools draw on the same plan rather than a separate one. And it is revocable at any time: if a laptop changes hands or you finish a project, revoke the token from Settings -> Connected apps and access stops immediately.

Try it

If you already work in Claude Code, Cursor, or ChatGPT, bring your ISMS Copilot account along. Open Settings -> Connected apps, create a token, and run your first ISMS Copilot conversation from the terminal.
